  1. Google+ Introduces New Hangouts App Called Capture, To Snap Pics Of Special Moments As They Happen

  2. Hangouts is a popular Google product that allows users to video chat with multiple people. With the new Capture app, users can now snap photos from these videos to save and share certain moments. There is no need to worry about having a surprise picture taken because everyone who joins a Hangout will be notified that the app is in use.

  3. Pinterest rolls out its site redesign with easier access to boards and related content from a pin page

  4. The Pinterest redesign is simpler and cleaner with slightly larger pins. When users look at a specific pin they will be able to see more related content such as other pins from the same website source. Another design change appears at the bottom of the screen and includes a display of other pins from users who pinned the content being viewed.

  6. Lookalike audiences is a new option that will allow advertisers to target people who have characteristics that are similar to their current customers. Ads will then be shown to people with specific interests or demographics. This new feature is available in the power editor and creates an even greater reach than the custom audiences tool released last fall.
