Virtual Hired Hand - New Start

Let’s Celebrate, There’s Still Time!

I’m so honored that you took the time to read this today. It’s the last day of August and I’m grateful for that. It’s hump day and I wanted to bring you some joy and encouragement.

Did you know that the number 8 means new beginnings? Doing something new can be uncomfortable, scary, unsettling, or exciting, exhilarating and uplifting.

Whichever emotion applies to you, I’m with you and understand completely.

Depending what the new beginning is it can trigger all of these feelings. The biggest challenge is not to allow any of those feelings to get you stuck. Even in our excitement we can still get stuck.

Today, reflect on those new beginnings and decide what actions you’ll take to propel yourself forward into September.

Fall is quickly approaching which means holidays and end of the year celebrations are just around the corner. Head spin, I know, lots to think about and lots to do before the year is over.

Have you given yourself grace in regards to what you have not completed and celebrated for what you have completed?

Today, grace yourself and accept what you have not done. Realize you’ve got time to get it done and then come up with a strategy plan. Put it on the calendar with a set deadline. Post it on your wall so you can see it every day. And have a party when you’re able to cross it off. Woohoo! This is what I’ll be doing today as well.

September is a great time for birthing things since it’s the 9th month. Will it be your eBook, teleclass, product, or something else completely unrelated to your business?

Prepare for it and create your strategy now on those plans. If you need someone to hold you accountable post it on Facebook and Twitter with a timeframe. For example, if you plan to start a new workout regimen, let everyone know about it. Rest assured they’ll be at least one person following up with you regarding your status.

When hundreds, no thousands of friends are supporting you and some asking you how did it go, what did you do, you’ll see to it that you follow through on what you said.

As the season changes not just with the weather but in your business as well, grace yourself to feel the normal feelings that come with new starts and releasing something new. Allow yourself to embrace joy which comes from within.

Before I head off to Staples and get a nice pretty calendar so I can plan my end of the year strategy, I found some great quotes of encouragement from Joyce Meyer. The last one just makes you want to scream, holler, run, and then do something!

By Joyce Meyer

“Courage is fear that has said its prayers and decided to go forward anyway.”

“Put your expectations on God, not on people.”

“Our joy does not have to be based on our circumstances.”

“Strive for excellence, not perfection, because we don’t live in a perfect world.”

“God doesn’t tell you to do hard things so He can stand back and laugh and watch you struggle. He tells you to do things the things that He knows are gonna work out to your good in the end.”

Let’s hold each other accountable. Share in the comments below 1 or 2 new things you plan to put into action before the end of this year.
