Is Your Guard Up?

By: Tiffany Parson

I’ve got my spiritual boxing gloves on today. Do you have a minute?

Please listen to me as a virtual assistant coach and trainer it’s my responsibility to be open and share based on experiences whether they be mine or someone else’s. This is how we all learn.

This is what I was going to post on my Facebook wall and then realized it best I send it to you all directly because you might miss it:

Happy Thursday Guys!! I cannot impress upon you enough to be sure you review potential clients websites and every social media link they have. You can learn a lot about who they are, their beliefs, and their message. If it is not in line with yours pass on the opportunity.

There was a time when I didn’t know to do this and it not only effected my business, but my family. As a service provider when you work with a business owner, you are agreeing to their message whatever it is.

Beware everyone with a bright smile and a pleasant disposition is not what you see. In the Wizard of Oz there was both a good witch and a bad witch. As for me and my house a witch is a witch is a witch.

“…God is strong, and he wants you strong.

So take everything the Master has set out for you, well–made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way.

This is no afternoon athletic contest that we’ll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels.

Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet.” {Ephesians 10 – 14 MSG}

Do not ever put your self in a situation of desperation. No matter what!

Here’s what happens when you do:

  • You end up with a project you cannot handle
  • You end up with a client you cannot serve
  • You miss out on other opportunities because you’re tied up with something that never should have been on your plate in the first place.

Guard what you do. Your clients and family depend on you.

Much love and all the best…

🙂 Tiffany
